Florida Running Groups
If you’re looking for a run club in Florida, you’re in a great spot. The running community here is seriously active, and the year-round weather means there’s never really an off-season to get outside and get moving.
Orlando has been a running town longer than most people realize. The Orlando Runners Club has been going since 1976, and now the city is loaded with brewery-affiliated groups like Milk District Run Club and Ten10 Run Club that make it easy to be social after you put in the work.
Miami’s scene is massive too. The Brickell Run Club pulls in hundreds of runners on Tuesday nights alone, and groups like Coconut Grove Run Club and Go Run Miami keep things going all week long.
Tampa has a great mix with clubs like Run Tampa and Run the Heights offering everything from Bayshore Boulevard routes to Riverwalk loops with a cold one waiting at the end.
Jacksonville is just as solid. JTC Running has been around since 1975, and PRS Running Club has over 1,000 members showing up for group runs, track nights, and some genuinely fun community races.
The cool thing about running in Florida is that you’ve got coastal paths, shaded trails, bridge runs, and downtown routes all depending on where you are. And the running groups match that same variety, whether you want something laid-back and social or a structured program to get you across a finish line.
The hardest part is picking which club to try first. After that, every RunSesh takes care of itself.
