About This Club

Coconut Grove Run Club started in 2022 in Miami's Coconut Grove neighborhood and has grown fast, now pulling in 2,000+ runners across its weekly meetups. It's built for people who want a regular running habit plus a social scene, not a training squad chasing splits. If you're new to Miami or new to running altogether, this is the kind of group that's set up to absorb you without much friction.

  • Social media savvy
  • Celebrity participation
  • Scenic Grove routes
  • Rapid growth to 2000+ runners

  • Athlete coaching

Who It Suits

This suits beginners, people building a consistent running habit, and newcomers looking to meet people in Miami through a low-pressure weekly run. It's not the move if you're an advanced runner specifically hunting for free structured track workouts, since Thursday's track session carries a fee.

What a Run With Them Is Like

Paces are grouped so faster and slower runners aren't forced together, and the club is explicit that no one gets left behind. You'll cover roads, waterfront paths, and residential streets depending on which day you show up, and Thursday adds a track option (that one has a fee, unlike the other runs). Distances vary by group run rather than following one fixed route each week.

Your First Run

For the Wednesday run, get to Peacock Park (2820 McFarlane Rd) a bit early so you can find your pace group before the start. Check the club's Instagram beforehand since that's where day-of updates get posted.

You don't need to register or pay to show up, and since paces are grouped and walkers are welcome, you won't be stuck at the back on your own. Sunday's run meets at Bayshore Club at 7AM if that fits your schedule better.
