About This Club

This is a weekly LGBTQ-friendly run in Miami Beach, meeting every Wednesday evening at Lincoln Rd and Bay Rd. It's built as a social, low-pressure run rather than a training group, with distances of 2 to 5 miles and pace that adjusts to whoever shows up. It suits beginners and people who want a casual, no-membership way to run regularly and meet people.

Who It Suits

This fits LGBTQ+ runners, beginners, and people who want a social, all-paces weekly run without joining anything or paying anything. It's not built for competitive racers chasing pace goals, and it's not for trail runners since it's flat road only. It's also not set up for walkers, so if you need walk breaks, this may not be the right group.

What a Run With Them Is Like

Runs are 2 to 5 miles on flat road terrain, so no trail technicality to worry about. Pace is adjustable to the group rather than fixed, and the group leaves promptly at 6:40 PM, so you want to be there and warmed up before that. Socializing is part of the plan, not an afterthought, so expect people to hang around and talk afterward.

Your First Run

Show up at the SW corner of Lincoln Rd and Bay Rd with time to spare, since the group leaves at 6:40 sharp and won't wait around. Arrive early enough to stretch, bring water, and wear running gear.

There's no membership or cost to join, so you can just turn up and run. It's set up for beginners and is described as welcoming, so arriving alone isn't unusual here, but this isn't a walk-run group, so know going in that the expectation is running, not walking.
