About This Club

The Baptist Health Brickell Run Club meets every Tuesday at 7 PM in the Fortune International Headquarters parking lot at 1300 Brickell Ave, pulling in 300-plus runners on a typical night. It is free, requires no membership, and covers a 3 to 3.5-mile loop through Brickell and Downtown Miami with routes that change weekly. Pacers are on hand for every level, from first-timers to marathoners in training.

Who It Suits

If you want structured pacing on a consistent weekly route through the city, free water, and a crowd big enough that no one is watching whether you finish fast or slow, this is built for that. It is not the right call if you are chasing competitive race prep with hard workouts, or if you want dirt and trails under your feet.

What a Run With Them Is Like

You will be on pavement the whole way, moving through urban Miami streets with a scenic city backdrop, so leave the trail shoes at home. The distance sits at 3 to 3.5 miles, which most people cover without stopping, but the group is large enough that you set your own pace with the help of designated pacers. Because routes rotate weekly, even regulars do not know exactly where they are headed until they show up.

Your First Run

Show up a few minutes before 7 PM so you can sign the waiver on-site and catch the warm-up, which happens before the run starts. When you arrive at the parking lot at 1300 Brickell Ave, you will find a crowd, so just look for the group gathering and someone will point you toward the sign-in.

Going alone is genuinely common here given the size of the turnout, and pacers are there specifically so you are not left guessing whether you belong at the front or the back. After the run there is usually a stretch and core workout, and depending on the week, the group sometimes moves to a nearby spot afterward.
