About This Club

This is a free Thursday night run based right outside West Kendall Baptist Hospital, out in Miami's western suburbs. It's built for a midweek reset, not a training block, so it genuinely suits beginners, walkers, and anyone who wants a no-pressure run to break up the week rather than chase a specific pace or distance.

  • Westernmost in Miami-Dade
  • Hospital-based
  • Midweek reset vibe
  • Free runs
  • Inclusive pacing
  • No signup beyond waiver

Who It Suits

This suits beginners, walkers, and people in West Kendall who want a reliable midweek run without pressure around pace or mileage. It's not the pick if you're chasing long distance training, want an early morning run, or are looking for trail terrain, none of that is what this club offers.

What a Run With Them Is Like

Routes run 3 to 3.5 miles on pavement and road, and can be shortened or lengthened depending on what you're up for that night. Pace groups exist so people running different speeds aren't stuck together, and the pace guidance is simply run your own. There's no trail element here, it's a straightforward road route around the area.

Distance3-3.5 miles, Adjustable shorter/longer
PaceAll abilities and skill levels welcomed; pace groups; no judgments
TerrainPavement, Road
Post-runCommunity connection emphasized; music and energy post-run

Your First Run

Show up outside the main lobby of West Kendall Baptist Hospital before 7 PM Thursday, sign a waiver when you arrive, and that's the entire signup process. There's no membership, no fee, nothing to register in advance.

If you're worried about being slow or being alone, this club's whole setup is designed around that: pace groups mean you won't be stuck with runners faster than you, and walkers are explicitly welcome. Wear shoes you're comfortable in and expect the run to happen rain or shine.
