About This Club

Milk District Run Club meets every Thursday evening at Sideward Brewing in Orlando, offering short routes of 1, 2, or 3.1 miles before everyone heads back in for happy hour. It's built for people who want to move a bit and then sit down with a drink, not chase a training log. Free to show up, no membership needed, so it's a low-commitment way to try a weekday run.

Who It Suits

This suits beginners, walkers, and anyone who wants an easy midweek social run without pressure on pace or distance. If you're training for a marathon or want serious mileage, or you're looking for an early morning session or trail terrain, this isn't set up for that, it's flat roads and short distances by design.

What a Run With Them Is Like

You pick your own distance on the night, either 1, 2, or 3.1 miles, so nobody's locked into a route that's too long or too short for how they feel that day.

The terrain is flat road through the Milk District, and the pace is described as all paces, so there's no single group speed to keep up with. It's a short, social outing more than a workout, with the finish line leading straight into happy hour.

Your First Run

Show up at Sideward Brewing by 6:30 PM on Thursday and pick whichever distance sounds right, 1, 2, or 3.1 miles. Since the pace is open to all levels and walkers are welcome, you won't be the slowest person there by default and nobody's timing you. There's no sign-up or fee, so you can just walk in and join. After the run, stick around for happy hour, that's really half the point of coming.
