Established inclusive club for serious community runners.
About This Club
Run Tampa is a citywide club built around Hyde Park Village, with a motto that tells you exactly what to expect: running, walking, racing, talking. It's structured for people who want a regular training rhythm, whether that's a Saturday long run or a casual Sunday morning, and it runs group coaching alongside the social side.

Who It Suits
This suits runners who want a mix of structured training and low-key social running, and who don't mind that pace is genuinely open, from walkers to racers. It's not built for beer-mile energy or for people chasing an exclusive trail-running scene. If you've got a stroller or a dog, this isn't set up for either.

What a Run With Them Is Like
Saturdays are long run days, 7-9 a.m., with distances stretching from 7 up to 15+ miles depending on the week. Sundays are shorter and lighter, 7-8 a.m., often the monthly gathering at Hyde Park Village. From mid-October to mid-April there's also a Thursday evening run, 6-7 p.m. Pace covers the full range, and both road and trail terrain show up depending on the route.
Your First Run
Head to Hyde Park Village for the meeting time that fits your schedule, Saturday morning for the long run or Sunday morning for something shorter. Non-members get two free runs before deciding whether to join, and you'll want to request a Visitor Waiver from the Club Director through the contact form ahead of time.
Walking is built into how this club runs, so there's no pressure to keep pace with anyone, and talking afterward is part of the point, not an afterthought. Check the schedule beforehand since locations rotate and some weekends are skipped for group races.

Where this comes from: Club details come from each club’s own channels (their site, Meetup, Strava and social posts) and are checked by hand. Group runs move, so confirm the meeting spot on the club’s latest post before you head out. Last updated April 2026.
