List of Running Clubs in Denver

Denver’s running scene is deep, and the altitude just makes everyone tougher. Between the city’s urban trails and the Front Range sitting right there, you can run roads in the morning and trails in the afternoon.

The HTB Run Club meets every Wednesday at Highland Tap and Burger in LoHi for a free run that includes a post-run dinner. Citius RC has been building community since 2017 with Saturday long runs from rotating coffee shops, Tuesday morning track sessions, and pace groups from 7 to 10 minutes per mile.

The Colorado Harriers run coached track intervals at Denver North High School on Tuesday mornings and free tempo workouts at Denver Beer Co on Thursday evenings. Revolution Running offers structured paid training programs across multiple locations including Washington Park, City Park, and Cheesman Park.

Denver Trail Runners takes the action off-road with Thursday evening and Sunday morning group runs at rotating trailheads across the metro and foothills. Colorado Frontrunners provides an LGBTQ+ welcoming space with Saturday morning runs from Dora Moore Elementary.

The Rocky Mountain Road Runners round things out with roots going back to 1959, making them one of the longest-running clubs in the state.

Denver gives you a running group for every day of the week and every type of terrain.
