About This Club

Revolution Running is a coached training club in Denver built around structured seasonal programs that point toward specific races, with Bolder Boulder and Colfax among the targets they name.

They run up to three times a week out of Wash Park, City Park, and rotating Saturday locations across the Front Range. If you want a coach telling you what to do each workout and a group that is actually building toward something, this is set up for exactly that.

  • 4x Best Running Club award
  • Seasonal programs for major CO races
  • Multiple Front Range locations
  • Coached workouts
  • Nutrition/injury advice
  • Social events

Who It Suits

This suits runners who are training toward a goal, want coaching on their workouts, and are ready to commit to a program rather than drop in when they feel like it. It is not a good match if you want a free, no-strings group run or if you are not sure yet whether you want to run regularly - they say themselves it is not built for casual, no-commitment runners.

What a Run With Them Is Like

Midweek runs happen Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6pm, with Saturday long runs at 8am (7am in summer) at locations that rotate, so you will want to check their weekly email to know where to show up.

The terrain mixes road, parks, and canal trails depending on the day. There are five pace groups, so you are not stuck running someone else's pace - you find the group that fits you. Distances vary by workout, with the longer efforts happening on Saturdays.

Your First Run

Before you show up, email info@revolution-running.com - they will point you toward the right ability group and make sure you know where that week's run is happening, because locations do rotate. Showing up alone is normal here; the structure of pace groups means you are placed with runners at your level from the start, which takes the awkwardness out of that first run.

One thing to know going in: this is a membership-based club at $525 a year or $56 a month, so there is a real commitment involved before you lace up with them.
