Cleveland's running personality is shaped by Lake Erie and the Metroparks belt more than its streets. The Lakefront Bikeway gives you flat paved miles with the lake on one side, the Towpath drops you into the old canal corridor heading south, and once you reach the reservations - Rocky River, North Chagrin - the surface shifts to wooded dirt and the city noise drops away entirely.
