About the Run for Justice
The course runs through Edgewater Park, a lakeside setting that makes for a scenic fall morning. Several distance options mean the field covers everything from serious runners chasing time to walkers in full costume, and costumes are very much the point. Prizes go to the best-dressed runners, with categories for adults, kids, and dogs.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at a downtown Cleveland conference center, with race-morning pickup opening well before the start. After the race, there is an after-party with food trucks, face painting, and a DJ. The race benefits the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation's access-to-justice programs.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Run for Justice has been held every year since at least 2019. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
