About This Club

Triple C Beer Runners meets every Thursday at 6:30pm outside Triple C Brewing Company in Charlotte's South End. It's free, there's no membership to sign up for, and the distances run from 1 to 5 miles on the paved Rail Trail, so it suits people who want a low-barrier weekly run that ends at a taproom.

  • Brewery-based
  • Loyalty rewards
  • Food discount
  • Loyalty shirts at 10/30 runs

Who It Suits

This fits social runners who like a set weekly routine, people newer to running who want distance options rather than a fixed mileage, and anyone who wants the run to end at a beer. It's not built for competitive racers looking for a hard workout, people who want early morning miles since this is an evening run, or trail runners, since the surface is paved Rail Trail rather than singletrack.

What a Run With Them Is Like

You pick your distance from a set of options between 1 and 5 miles, all on the paved Rail Trail, so the ground is flat and predictable. The group covers a range of paces, from experienced runners to first-timers, and runs together rather than splitting off by ability. Afterward it's beers at the taproom and 20% off the Izzy's food truck if you mention you ran.

Your First Run

Show up outside the taproom at Triple C Brewing, 2900 Griffith St, by 6:30 on Thursday, no advance signup needed since it's free and membership isn't required. Once there, you choose which distance to run that night from the 1 to 5 mile options on the Rail Trail.

The pace setup is built for first-timers as well as experienced runners running the same night, so you're not the only newer face out there. Worth checking their Instagram beforehand in case there's a food vendor that night, and remember to mention you're with the run group to get the food truck discount.
