Welcoming entry-level social run in southern Charlotte suburb
About This Club
Pineville Run Club meets Monday evenings at Kit's Trackside in the Pineville area of Charlotte, and it's built around picking a short distance and ending at a table with a beer. It's free, no membership needed, and the run/walk format means the actual running part is not the point, showing up on a Monday is.

Who It Suits
This suits beginners, walkers, and people who want a low-pressure reason to get out Monday evenings and end up somewhere social. It's not built for advanced racers or anyone chasing longer mileage, the distances top out at 4 miles and the pace is casual throughout.

What a Run With Them Is Like
You choose 1, 2, or 4 miles before you head out, all on pavement, and the pace is casual across the board. It's a run/walk group, so walking for some or all of it is normal, not an exception. Afterward everyone regroups for beers at Kit's Trackside or nearby at Pintville.
Your First Run
Get to Kit's Trackside by around 6:20 PM, before the 6:30 start, so you have a few minutes to figure out which distance you want to do. Pick 1, 2, or 4 miles, whatever matches how you feel that day, nobody is checking.
Since it's run/walk with all paces mixed in, there's no version of this where you're the slow one holding up a pack, people are walking too. Stay after for the beer, that's as much the point as the run itself.
