About This Club

Hi-Wire Run Club CLT meets every Wednesday at 6:30pm at Hi-Wire Brewing in South End, Charlotte. It's a free, no-membership midweek run built around three route options and a taproom afterward, aimed at beginners, social runners, and people who like craft beer as much as running.

  • Brewery-hosted
  • Multiple route distances
  • Weekly participant raffle
  • Post-run beer
  • Raffles
  • Pizza access

Who It Suits

This suits beginners, social runners, and people who want a reason to grab a beer on a Wednesday, since the pace is open and the mileage choices are short. It's not built for competitive racers looking for structured training or for trail runners, since it's all road and pavement with no listed group pace targets. It's also not set up for strollers or dogs.

What a Run With Them Is Like

You choose between a 1, 3, or 5-mile route before you head out, and the terrain is road and pavement through South End. All paces are welcome and walkers are part of the mix, so there's no single pack moving at one speed. Afterward everyone regroups at the Hi-Wire taproom for beer, pizza, and a weekly raffle.

Your First Run

Get to Hi-Wire Brewing at 340 W Tremont Ave by 6:15pm so you have time to park or get dropped off and pick your distance before the 6:30 start. There's no sign-up or fee, you just show up.

Bring your ID if you want beer afterward. Since the routes split by distance and walkers are welcome, you're not locked into keeping pace with anyone, you just pick the mile count that matches how you're feeling that day.
