About the Superheroes for Autism
The course runs around a pond and then heads out and back along a greenway at McAlpine Creek Park. It is a park setting with paved trail underfoot, nothing technical, and the out-and-back stretch keeps things straightforward. The race benefits a local nonprofit that supports adults with autism, and runners are encouraged to show up in full superhero costumes.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at Charlotte Running Company, with race-morning pickup available at the park as well. Parking is off Monroe Road, with the park entrance marked by a large sign and the lot just after you turn in.

The Superheroes for Autism has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
