About This Club

This is a weekly brewery-based run/walk/bike club at Kros Strain Draft Works in downtown Omaha, meeting Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with a flexible check-in window. It's free, no membership needed, and it suits people who want a low-pressure reason to move and then grab a beer, not people chasing a training plan.

  • Swag for repeat visits

Who It Suits

This works for casual and social runners, walkers, and anyone who wants beer and pizza built into the evening, and it's genuinely beginner-friendly since there's no pace expectation. It's not built for competitive racers or anyone doing long-distance training, since the runs are self-led with no set distance, and it's an evening club so it won't work if you're only free early morning.

What a Run With Them Is Like

There's no group start time or led pace group here. You check in sometime during the 5:30-8pm window, then run, walk, or bike your own route through downtown on roads and city streets. Distance and pace are up to you since it's self-led, which is also why the club says all paces are welcome, there's no pack to keep up with.

Your First Run

Head to Kros Strain Draft Works at 1209 Millwork Ave anytime between 5:30 and 8pm on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Check in with Josh or Kelly, they run the sign-in, and let them know it's your first time.

From there you set out on whatever route and pace works for you, run, walk, or bike, and come back to the brewery afterward for $1 off your first beer and pizza nearby at Dolomiti. Because everyone's doing their own route on their own clock, there's no risk of being the one holding up a group.
