About the Run for the Kids of St Jude
This race runs through Aksarben Village and is built around a specific family's story: a boy named Ethan who was treated for brain cancer at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The morning has that shape, a welcome, remarks from the hospital, then the run itself. The surroundings are a walkable urban village neighborhood, not a park trail.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local Fleet Feet store, and again race morning in Stinson Park before the start. Coffee and doughnuts are out when you arrive. There is a photo opportunity with St. Jude on-site that wraps up mid-morning.
