About This Club

3RUN2 is a Chicago social running club with regular runs in two neighborhoods: Tuesdays in University Village and Thursdays in Logan Square, meeting at Logan Vegan on Kedzie. There's no cost to join and no membership requirement, so you can just show up. It suits runners who already have some mileage under their belt and want a consistent group to run with, rather than beginners looking for structured pace support.

  • Trademarked brand
  • Multi-location weekly runs
  • Saturday lakefront or pie shop options
  • Bag drop (Thu)
  • Flexible distances
  • Discord for updates

Who It Suits

This works for intermediate, social runners who want a dependable weekly run and don't need a pace group holding their hand. It's not built for beginners who want pace-matched support, for walkers, or for people chasing elite-level training, the record is explicit that those groups aren't the fit here.

What a Run With Them Is Like

Pace runs 7:00 to 10:00 per mile, but there are no formal pace groups, so the group finds its own rhythm rather than splitting into designated paces. Distances vary by day: Tuesday offers 5k, 4mi, or 8k, Thursday offers 4mi or 10k. Routes are road and urban terrain. Thursday runs include a bag drop; Tuesday does not, so you're carrying whatever you bring.

Your First Run

Head to Logan Vegan at 2511 N Kedzie for the 6:30pm start. If you're coming Tuesday, know there's no bag drop, so travel light and be ready to go.

Saturday runs aren't fixed on the regular schedule, they vary and get posted in the club's Discord, so check there before planning around a Saturday. If showing up solo feels like the hard part, the club's own advice is to bring a friend along for that first one.
