About the EdFed Race for Education at the Superintendent’s 5K
The course runs along Biscayne Boulevard in Miami, a wide urban stretch with open sky and views toward the bay. The race draws school children, parents, teachers, and administrators from across the Miami-Dade public school system, so the field is broad and the atmosphere reflects that. Proceeds go directly back to participating schools.
Packet pickup happens at the Miami-Dade school district offices in the days before the race, with a race-morning option inside Maurice Ferre Park for those who miss the earlier windows. The start line sits at Biscayne Boulevard and a nearby cross street. The closest parking garage is the arena next to the course, though it fills early and does not accept cash.
