About the 2026 Honor Our Veterans 5k
This race honors veterans, and that purpose shapes the whole morning. It runs through Miami, where the heat is real, not theoretical. The organizers are direct about it: humidity can be punishing, and they ask runners to hydrate well in the days before. Loose, light-colored clothing is worth taking seriously here, not just a suggestion.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running shop called Go Run Kendall, with race-morning pickup available on site as well. Registration is also open on site before the start, so late deciders can still show up. A pre-race briefing happens just before the gun.

The 2026 Honor Our Veterans 5k has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
