The course loops Bachman Lake Park, and the route runs a touch longer than a standard 5K this year to work around a construction detour. The organizers leaned into it, so expect hard hats and vests in the crowd. There is a shorter dash option for younger or newer runners, and the whole thing wraps up with live music, bounce houses, and food.

The post-race party is a real one, not just a banana and a folding table. Games, drinks, and music are part of the plan. Packet pickup details are tied to the race site, but the start area is at Bachman Lake Park, which has open space around it and is easy to find on the northwest side of Dallas.
