About the DRC's The Half (13.1, 10K & 5K)
The course runs around White Rock Lake, a loop that Dallas runners already know well on weekend mornings. The terrain is mixed, so expect some variety underfoot rather than pure pavement the whole way. Several distance options mean you will see people finishing at different points along the route, and the race benefits a scholarship fund for local student-athletes.
Parking at Norbuck Park is reserved for volunteers and race staff, so most runners arrive by DART Rail, rideshare, or by parking at Flag Pole Hill or White Rock Station and walking over. Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the race at a local running shop, with a race-morning window available at the start area for those who need it.

The DRC's The Half (13.1, 10K & 5K) has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
