About the Running through the Decades Half Marathon - Dallas
The race starts and finishes at a middle school campus and leans hard into its decade theme: expect a costume contest before the gun, a DJ spinning era-appropriate music through the morning, and plenty of runners in neon and big hair. Several distance options share the same festive atmosphere, from a short kids dash to the half marathon.
Packet pickup runs the morning of the race at the school, wrapping up shortly before the costume contest kicks things off. Snacks and drinks are waiting at the Rally Tent when you finish, and results and awards are posted at the registration area right after you cross the line.
