About the Run With Kenyans X Miles Culture Dallas 10K & 15K
The route circles White Rock Lake, which keeps things scenic without much navigating. It draws runners and walkers of all speeds, and the connection to Kenyan running culture gives the morning a specific character you do not find at most local events. The start is at the Bath House Cultural Center on the lake's east side.
The event is free to enter, though there is an option to donate toward youth development and scholarship programs connected to the Kenyan Kids Foundation. That fundraising purpose runs through the whole morning, so it feels like more than just a weekend group run.
