About the Pink Cupcake Walk
The route loops around a minor league baseball field in uptown Charlotte, and at each lap you stop at a different local bakery table for a mini cupcake. The walk benefits a nonprofit that helps local families with the financial side of a breast cancer diagnosis, and the atmosphere leans toward celebration, with live music and a survivor lap built into the morning.
Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the event at the stadium, with race-morning pickup available when the gates open. Strollers are welcome, though the field level is only reachable by elevator. Dogs cannot come onto the field. Parking garages are close by, but the organizers suggest the light rail or a rideshare.
