About the Miami Executive Airport
This race runs on an actual airport runway at Miami Executive Airport, with the Wings Over Miami Museum as the host site. The surface is flat tarmac, the surroundings are wide open, and the views are what you would expect from an active general aviation field: hangars, small planes, and a lot of sky.
Packet pickup happens on race morning at the venue, opening well before the start, so there is no separate trip the day before. The start area is on airport property, which means a distinct check-in process compared to a typical road race.
