About the 2026 MADD Safari Stomp 5K
The course runs through Zoo Miami, so the scenery is unlike most road races. Animals are part of the backdrop, and the surroundings stay interesting throughout. The race is a fundraiser for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, so the crowd tends to be people who came for the cause as much as the course, and that shapes the morning.
Check-in opens well before the opening ceremony, which kicks off shortly before the race begins. Same-day zoo admission is included with your entry, so many runners stay after to walk the grounds. The start area is right at the zoo, with parking and facilities on site.
