About the Hilly Chantilly 5K

The course winds through the residential streets of Chantilly, one of Charlotte's older center-city neighborhoods, on roads that cross no major thoroughfares. The name promises hills, but the rolling is gentle throughout, with a couple of real uphills balanced by long, fast downhills. The route starts and finishes in Chantilly Park, and the sprint finish is downhill.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at Legion Brewing Company on Commonwealth Avenue, which is close by. Race-morning pickup opens at the park before the start. There is no parking lot at Chantilly Park, so plan to park on neighborhood streets or walk and bike if you live nearby. Legion Brewing is open after the race, and bib holders who are of drinking age can redeem a pint there.
