About the FFF5K Social Run/Walk
This one starts and ends at the Community Beer Company taproom in Dallas. The route is self-guided and untimed, winding past some of the bridges that connect the city, with a pace team leading the way. The surroundings lean industrial and urban, and the course is relaxed enough that strollers and leashed dogs turn up regularly.
Breakfast tacos and beer are waiting when you get back. Check-in opens before the run starts, and the social stretch afterward runs a few hours, so there is time to hang around. Bring an ID for the taproom, and note that registration is online only; the event goes rain or shine.
