About the Fear Not. Jingle 5k

This Christmas-season race is hosted at a church campus in Orlando, and the faith-based theme runs through the whole morning. The course is a 5K, and the event draws families alongside faster runners. The atmosphere leans toward celebration rather than pure competition, with the holiday season giving it a distinct character.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a location announced closer to race day, with race-morning pickup available for those who prefer it. The start area is on the church campus, so parking and gathering all happen in the same spot.

Common Questions About the Fear Not. Jingle 5k

Will I finish last at the Fear Not. Jingle 5k?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 33:37, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:12:28, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Fear Not. Jingle 5k a good first 3.1 Miles?

A field of 215 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Fear Not. Jingle 5k?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 16:59 while the median finisher took 33:37. That spread points to a broad, mostly recreational field rather than a race dominated by club runners.

Where can I train for the Fear Not. Jingle 5k?

Join a local run club. Orlando Runners Club, Home State Run Club, Park Brewing Run Club and others in Orlando welcome runners of all paces, and a weekly group run is the most reliable way to hold a training block together.
