About the Stuff Your Face Race

The main course runs through Blue Jacket Park, doing a full loop and then a partial second loop before returning to the start. The other option is a mile broken into segments, with a food tasting stop at each one before finishing at what the organizers call the Refuel Zone. There is also a short dash for kids.

Parking is free at Blue Jacket Park and at a nearby middle school on Upper Park Road. Plan to arrive early enough to settle in before your wave goes off. There is a food spread at the finish.

Common Questions About the Stuff Your Face Race

Will I finish last at the Stuff Your Face Race?

Almost certainly not. Half the 5K field finished slower than 34:42, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:24:47, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Stuff Your Face Race a good first 5K?

It is a small race (66 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 5K, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Stuff Your Face Race?

The 5K winner ran 19:25 while the median finisher took 34:42. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.

Where can I train for the Stuff Your Face Race?

Join a local run club. Orlando Runners Club, Home State Run Club, Park Brewing Run Club and others in Orlando welcome runners of all paces, and a weekly group run is the most reliable way to hold a training block together.
