About the 2026 Cops vs Cancer: Lights & Sirens GLOW Run/Walk
This one starts after dark, which sets it apart from most local races. The glow element runs through the whole event, and the surroundings include law enforcement displays, a canine unit, a SWAT presence, drones, and a helicopter on the ground. It reads more like a block party with a course through it than a traditional race morning.
The start is at the marina entrance off State Street. After the run, there is a foam party, a live band, and an Italian dinner on site. On-site cancer genetic testing is also available for those who qualify.
