About the Charlotte Savill Memorial 5K
The course winds through a park in Coconut Grove, so expect shade, greenery, and a route that feels more like a neighborhood morning than a road race. The race honors a young woman and supports research into a rare liver cancer, and that purpose is visible in the crowd, a mix of people running hard and people running for someone.
After the finish, food, drinks, and vendors fill the post-race hour before awards go to the top finishers in each gender. An optional warm-up flow session runs before the gun, and a post-race afterparty keeps things going after the ceremony wraps.
