About the BSS Bulldog Turkey Trot
The Bulldog Turkey Trot is a school community race with a costume tradition baked in. Turkey hats and Bulldog gear are encouraged, so the field tends to look more like a parade than a typical morning race. The course is a short road distance, with a kids run alongside it, and the pace ranges from people chasing a personal best to families walking together.
Post-race, the finish area stays lively with music, food, and activities rather than clearing out right away. Costumes are part of the draw, so if you show up in plain running clothes, expect to feel slightly underdressed.
