About the Amerant Bank 5K to benefit United Way Miami
The course runs through Coral Gables, passing the neighborhood streets around the historic City Hall, which also serves as the start and finish. The surroundings are residential and shaded in stretches, with the architecture of the area giving it some character. Heat and humidity are a real factor here, so going in well-hydrated matters.
Packet pickup opens early on race morning at the start site, which keeps logistics simple. Parking is on-street or in a couple of garages on Andalusia, and fees apply, so arriving with the PayByPhone app ready or some cash is a good idea. There is a post-race party at the finish.
