Huntsville earns its Rocket City nickname on the roads and trails alike. Group runs spill out of downtown breweries and taprooms at Campus No. 805 and Stovehouse, greenways thread through residential neighborhoods along Aldridge and Indian Creeks, and Monte Sano State Park sits on the east side of town for anyone who wants to trade pavement for dirt. John Hunt Park's championship cross country course sits just south of downtown and gives the city a purpose-built training venue that most places simply do not have. Whether you are tracing the Tennessee River waterfront or looping through the historic Twickenham and Blossomwood neighborhoods, routes with real character are never far away.
