Group run schedule

STL Run Crew
St. Louis, Missouri
Inclusive social movement building healthier St. Louis
About This Club
STL Run Crew meets twice a week in St. Louis, Tuesdays at Tower Grove Park and Sundays at Kiener Plaza, and the group runs anywhere from 50 to 300 people depending on the day.
Founded by Ricky Hughes in 2023, it's built around run, walk, and stroller options together rather than a single pace group, so a beginner and a marathon-trainer can both show up and it works. This is the club if you want a free, no-signup way to move regularly and be around people, not if you're chasing a specific training plan.
Highlights
- Diversity in race/age/ability
- Run/walk/stroller crews
- Four-seasons events
- Free events
- Diverse group

Who It Suits
This suits beginners, walkers, families pushing strollers, and anyone who wants a community run without a performance bar to clear. It's genuinely not built for elite racers or anyone wanting a highly structured training program, the club says as much itself. If you want a dog-friendly run, leave the leash at home, that's not part of this one.

What a Run With Them Is Like
Distances run from a mile or so up to 5K, and the structure is adaptable enough to fold into marathon training if that's what you're doing.
Ground is paved paths and park trails, nothing technical, and pace covers the full range from walkers to runners since that's built into how the club describes itself. With groups sometimes hitting the hundreds, there's room to find people moving at your speed without a formal pace-group split being described in the record.
Your First Run
Show up early to the Tuesday meet at the West End Picnic Site in Tower Grove Park, or the Sunday meet at Kiener Plaza, and check the club's Instagram beforehand since that's where updates get posted. You don't need to be fast, or even running at all, walkers and stroller crews are part of the regular mix, not an exception.
There's no membership or fee to worry about before you go, you just turn up. Given the size of these meetups, arriving alone isn't the awkward part, finding your people once you're in the crowd is the easy part.

Common Questions About STL Run Crew
Do I need to sign up or pay before showing up?
No. It's free and there's no membership required, you just arrive at the meeting spot on the day.
Can I bring my dog?
No, this club isn't set up as dog-friendly.
What if I can't run the whole thing?
That's fine, walk and stroller options are built into the regular sessions, not a separate accommodation.
Which day should I go to first?
Tuesdays are 6pm at Tower Grove Park's West End Picnic Site, Sundays are 9am at Kiener Plaza. Either works as a first visit.
Do they run through winter or bad weather?
It runs year-round, weather permitting, so check their Instagram if conditions look rough before you head out.
Where this comes from: Club details come from each club’s own channels (their site, Meetup, Strava and social posts) and are checked by hand. Group runs move, so confirm the meeting spot on the club’s latest post before you head out. Last updated April 2026.
