St. Louis, Missouri
Premier St. Louis running organization for social and events
Next group run
St. Louis Track Club has been around for more than 50 years and centers on a monthly social run based out of Schlafly Tap Room in downtown St. Louis.
It's built for runners and walkers of all abilities, and it also hosts some of the bigger organized races in the area, like the Frostbite Series and a half marathon. If you want a low-key monthly run plus a connection to the local race scene, this covers both.
Highlights
This suits people who want a monthly social run with a beer and some conversation afterward, plus beginners and walkers who don't want to worry about keeping pace. It also works well if you're interested in the club's races down the line. It's not set up for youth athletes or ultra runners, and it's not stroller or dog friendly, so leave those at home.

The social run happens once a month, on the third Monday, starting at 6pm from Schlafly Tap Room. It's open to all abilities, runners and walkers together, on a mix of road and park terrain. The location alternates between Schlafly Tap Room and Bottleworks depending on the time of year, so it's worth checking which one is up before you head out.
Show up at Schlafly Tap Room, 2100 Locust St, by 6pm on the third Monday of the month. You'll need to fill out a waiver, but it's just once per season, not every time.
If you have questions beforehand, Roger Moore is the contact listed for the club. Since walkers and runners of all abilities are part of the same run, nobody's going to be surprised if you're not fast, and there's no membership or fee required to show up.

Where this comes from: Club details come from each club’s own channels (their site, Meetup, Strava and social posts) and are checked by hand. Group runs move, so confirm the meeting spot on the club’s latest post before you head out. Last updated April 2026.
