Who It Suits

This suits early risers in or near the Park Cities/Highland Park area who want a free weekday and Saturday road run with a social coffee or breakfast attached. It's not for night owls, people who want to sleep in on weekends, or anyone chasing trail miles, this is all road. It's also not set up for walkers, strollers, or dogs.

What a Run With Them Is Like

Weekday runs are 3-6 miles on road, with the meeting spot rotating around Highland Park Village. Saturday steps up to a 9.3 mile loop at White Rock Lake, with shorter options if you don't want the full distance. Pace spans 6 to 13 min/mile, so there's real range in who shows up, though this is a running group rather than a walking one. Coffee or breakfast afterward is a regular part of how it works.

Your First Run

Show up Monday at 6am to Highland Park Village Starbucks, that's the fixed meeting point on weekdays. Shorter routes are available if you're easing in or not ready for the full distance. Pace runs 6 to 13 min/mile across the group, so being at the slower end isn't unusual, it's already part of the mix. Stay for coffee afterward, that's where the group actually connects and where a new face gets folded in.
