About This Club

Left Right Left is a free Wednesday night run/walk that starts and ends at At Ease Brewing Co. in Midtown Sacramento. There's no membership, no set pace, and you can pick between a 2-mile or 5K route depending on what you feel like that night. It's built for people who want a reason to get out midweek and a beer after, not a training group.

  • Brewery-based
  • Varying weekly Midtown routes

Who It Suits

This suits beginners, walkers, and people who want a casual midweek social run with a beer waiting at the end. It's not going to work for competitive racers looking for pace groups or structured training, and it's not for trail runners since everything here is road and pavement in Midtown.

What a Run With Them Is Like

Routes change week to week around Midtown, all on road and pavement, and the group posts the specific route on Instagram the day before so you know what you're getting into. Pace-wise, there's no set pace, walkers are welcome, and the route choice (2 miles vs 5K) lets you match the distance to how you're feeling. It's urban running, so expect sidewalks and street crossings, not trails.

Your First Run

Show up at At Ease Brewing Co. at 1825 I Street by 6:30pm on a Wednesday. Check their Instagram the day before so you know the route, since it changes weekly.

On your first visit you'll sign a liability waiver, and there's no headphones policy so you're expected to run aware of traffic and the group around you. Since walkers are welcome and there's no set pace, showing up slow or planning to walk part of it isn't going to make you stand out.
