About the Día De Los Muertos 5k Race
The course loops the perimeter of North Natomas Regional Park on paved sidewalk, flat the whole way. Costumes are encouraged, which gives the morning a different feel than most road races. The race is a fundraiser for a local youth cross country and track program whose athletes compete at the national level.
Packet pickup is at the park on race morning, well before the start, so there is no separate trip to make. The start and finish are at the same location.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Día De Los Muertos 5k Race has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
