About This Club

GRYT Run Club meets every Saturday morning at 7:00 AM on the Montour Trail in McMurray, out in Pittsburgh's South Hills. It's a free, no-membership run built around the idea of doing hard things together, and that extends to walkers, joggers, stroller pushers, and dog owners just as much as it does to runners. The route is an out-and-back, and nobody gets dropped.

Who It Suits

This suits anyone who wants a low-pressure Saturday morning run without pace anxiety, entry fees, or the pressure to keep up. It's a genuinely practical option if you're a walker, a new runner, or someone returning after a break. If you're training for a race and want a structured speed workout, this probably isn't your Saturday session.

What a Run With Them Is Like

You'll start at 212 Valley Brook Road and head out on the Montour Trail. The route runs about 4 miles out and back, though the distance can shift week to week, so it's worth checking their Strava group before you show up. The out-and-back format means you can turn around whenever you've had enough without disrupting anyone else. After the run, there's coffee, water, and sometimes fruit in the parking lot.
