About This Club

Eureka Run Club is a free, volunteer-led nonprofit group (RRCA affiliated) running out of Eureka, Missouri, with a second Saturday meetup at Laumeier Sculpture Park. There's no membership requirement and no cost, so you can just show up. It's built around walkers and all paces being in the same group, not split off to a slower track.

Who It Suits

This suits beginners, walkers, and people who want a no-cost, no-pressure way to run regularly with others in the Eureka/west St. Louis area. It's not built for elite racers chasing pace goals or trail runners looking for technical terrain, since the routes are road and paved. It's also not set up for strollers or dogs.

What a Run With Them Is Like

Runs are on road and paved surfaces, with distances that vary but generally fall in the 3-6 mile range. Pace is open, walkers included, so there isn't a single target speed you need to hit. Thursday evenings meet in Downtown Eureka at the Central Avenue lot, and Saturday mornings shift to Laumeier Sculpture Park.

Your First Run

Show up at the Central Avenue lot across from Circle K for the Thursday 5:30 PM run, or Laumeier Sculpture Park for the Saturday 9 AM one. You don't need to register or pay anything first.

Because the group is explicitly all-paces and walker-friendly, there isn't a fast pack you'll be scrambling to keep up with, walking is a normal part of the run, not an exception. If you have questions before you go, you can email eurekarunclub@gmail.com ahead of time.
