About This Club

Adams Run Club is a Friday morning fun run out of Bica in Normal Heights, San Diego, built around a short 3-5k and coffee after. It's free, no membership needed, and the pace is described as social rather than performance-focused, so it suits people who want a low-key start to the day rather than a training session.

  • Morning Friday runs
  • Normal Heights community
  • Good vibes focus
  • Post-run coffee
  • Inclusive vibe

Who It Suits

This suits morning people who want a short, social run without pressure, plus beginners and anyone who wants the coffee part as much as the run part. It's not going to work for evening runners, anyone chasing longer mileage, or trail runners, since this is a short road run on pavement, and it's also not set up for strollers or dogs.

What a Run With Them Is Like

You're looking at 3 to 5k on pavement and roads, run at a fun-run, social pace. This isn't a club built around splitting into fast and slow packs for a long haul, it's a short morning loop meant to be easygoing. Afterward everyone heads back to Bica for coffee.

Your First Run

Get to Bica in Normal Heights by 7 AM sharp, that's when things kick off, so don't plan to trickle in late. Walkers are welcome and it's described as beginner friendly, so showing up without recent race fitness isn't a problem here, the pace is social by design.

It's worth checking their Instagram beforehand in case of schedule updates. There's no membership or fee to worry about, just show up with, as they put it, good vibes, and plan to stick around after for coffee.
