About the Winterfest 5K
The course starts at Kiener Plaza and moves through the Arch grounds before looping back to the plaza. The setting is open and urban, with the park's redesigned landscape around you the whole way. Overall winners in the shorter distance take home special prizes, so there is a competitive thread running through what is otherwise a pretty scenic winter morning.
Packet pickup runs across several days before the race, either at Kiener Plaza near the visitors center or at a running store out in west county. There is also a race-morning window at the plaza if the earlier times do not work.
