About the Tampa YMCA Turkey Gobble 5K & 1 Mile

The course starts at an arena in the Channelside district, crosses a bridge over the water, and opens onto Bayshore Boulevard before turning around and heading back. It is a flat route with waterfront views for much of the way. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, with designated staging areas for both at the start.

Packet pickup happens at a Dick's House of Sports location at an area mall, with pickup available the weekend before and again the morning of the race. There is no race-day bib pickup, so plan to get your packet in advance. Post-race snacks and an awards ceremony are held back at the start area.
