About the Tampa Bay's Super Sunday 5K
The course runs near Raymond James Stadium, staying flat the whole way through. It is timed with chips, so the results are official, and age group awards go deep into the field. The race falls on Super Bowl weekend, and plenty of runners show up in team gear, which gives the start line a different energy than most weekend morning races.
Parking is free at Al Lopez Park. The afternoon before the race, a local running store hosts packet pickup, which saves time on race morning. There is no bag check on race day, so plan to leave everything in the car.
