About the Swifty Fun Run - 1 mile
The course runs through Creve Coeur Park on flat, paved paths. Several distance options are available, from a short jog to a half marathon, so you can pick what fits your legs that day. Aid stations play upbeat music loud enough to hear well before you reach them, which does help on longer stretches.
Costumes are part of the deal here. Plenty of people show up dressed in Taylor Swift gear, and the finish area has volunteers and spectators cheering. There is a post-race gathering where runners hang around and talk, which gives the morning a longer tail than most local races.
