About the Sheriff Chad Chronister's Ultimate Run
The course runs on a high-performance motorsports track, which makes for an unusual morning out. The surface is smooth and the layout is open, with no trail obstacles or road traffic to navigate. It is a charity run supporting the sheriff's office charitable fund, so the crowd skews toward people who are there for the mission as much as the miles.
Post-race refreshments are set up on site, and the track facility itself is part of the draw. The venue is The Motor Enclave on Motor Enclave Way, east of downtown Tampa, and the facility has its own parking on the grounds.
