About the Seaport Sprint
This is an orienteering sprint set along the San Diego waterfront, running the Embarcadero promenade past fishing boats, naval memorials, and public art, then looping through Seaport Village's winding paths and tucked-away gardens, before finishing on the open lawn at Embarcadero Marina Park North with bay views in every direction. Courses are split by experience level, all electronically timed.
An introductory clinic runs before the first wave for anyone picking up a map for the first time. Electronic punches are required; rentals are available at check-in if you don't own one. Parking in the area is paid. Headquarters is expected to be at Ruocco Park, with the final location confirmed closer to race day.
